Sexuality and theology aren't common companions. Yet in romance, and the longing any true romantic knows from experience and dream, the body and spirit make peace. And not only peace with themselves, but peace with the other, and (in both sexual love and Christian discipleship) even union with the other. The abstract becomes real, though still subjective and hard to articulate to the cynical observer.

Our website is one portal of access to the wonder of romance, and the Author of kisses and prayers. We hope you enjoy our exploration, and use these uncertain steps to find your own way to the High Romance....Not all sources and/or writers we feature agree with our biblical worldview, but in their human longings we believe they echo the strange and wonderful convergence of flesh and spirit found between two lovers, and a lover and God.

Thanks to my fellow romantics at Jesus People USA Covenant Church for holding onto love in works, intentional community, and all those beautiful Christian marriages in the face of indifference and cynicism.
